Homemade Turkish Simit

Today we share with you how to made your own Turkish simit at home!
Ingredients:
1. 1 pack of margarine or butter
2. 1 teacup of oil
3. 1 cup of starch (wheat or corn)
4. 1 tablespoon of grape vinegar.
5. 1 tablespoon of yogurt.
6. 2 teaspoons of sugar.
7. 1 teaspoon of salt.
8. Flour as much as possible.
Prep:
Let's take the softened thick oil into a bowl at room temperature. Let's add oil, yogurt, vinegar, sugar and salt and start mixing. Let's prepare our dough in the softness of the ear lobe by adding starch and a little flour. Let's take a walnut-sized meringue from our dough and give it the shape of a ring. Lastly, let's bake in a preheated 180 degree oven.
Enjoy a simit with some white cheese, olives, and a cup of tea!
